(The Fate of the Wild Horse)「中英雙語版」

"The Fate of the Wild Horse" is a metaphor that describes the phenomenon of people reacting violently to trivial matters, ultimately harming themselves.

Wild horses in the African grasslands are often bitten and bled by blood-sucking bats on their legs. Although the amount of blood consumed by the bats is negligible, the wild horses become enraged and run frantically, ultimately leading to their death. This indicates that the cause of the wild horse's demise is not the external factor (the blood-sucking bats), but rather its own intense emotional reaction.

In life, people inevitably encounter some unpleasant events as well. If they cannot maintain rationality and tolerance, and instead lose control of their emotions and become furiously angry, they can likewise endanger their own health. This phenomenon of getting angry over small matters and consequently harming oneself is metaphorically referred to as "the fate of the wild horse."

Therefore, "the fate of the wild horse" reminds people to learn to regulate their emotions, maintain rationality and tolerance, and not to inflict harm upon themselves over trivial matters.
